Recipe: Blueberry Banana Kale Smoothie

This smoothie is the elixir of life. I drink it every day, and I never grow tired of it. Also, it is super easy to make and has the consistency of ice cream, making it the perfect no-guilt cold treat! For something extra special, you can add a couple tablespoons of cacao beans or nibs for a subtle chocolate flavor.

Serves 1

  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • Handful of baby kale (I like to fill the rest of my blender up with kale, which is about a third of my blender)
  • A little less than 1/2 cup of vanilla soy milk
  • 2 tablespoons cacao beans/nibs (optional)
  1. Blend, and enjoy!
